Both the TITAN and LIGHTNING 3D projector lines from Digital Projection have gotten some major improvements including new connectivity features and compatibility with more modern types of 3D.
For starters, there's now Dual-Flash and Triple-Flash Procession on all of the projectors inputs. This processing allows 60Hz and 24Hz sources to be show at a greater amount of frames per second, which helps to eliminate flickering.
MultiBlend is a new feature that allows you to combine projectors seamlessly for a larger picture. The tech uses a 16-bit-per-color resolution, which Digital Projection says will ensure smooth blends.
One of the nicest new features for home use is the improved thermal management on both projector lines. Thanks to some improvements in how heat gets handles, the TITAN and LIGHTNING projectors run much quieter than their predecessors.
Of course, no 3D improvements would be complete without compatibility. Digital Projections 3D projectors will now feature Plug and Play connectivity with all four of the primary standards including the one used for 3D Blu-rays.
